Hi, Many people who have coloboma do not necessarily have CES. Coloboma is one of the many characteristics that a person with CES may have . They can also include heart defects,anal atresia, developmental delays,low muscle tone. A person who has CES will have a chromosome 22 rearrangement. Hope this helps
