Hello All,
Our daughter ruby is 5 months old and has an arrangement of chromosomes similar to cat eye with many symptoms of the syndrome.
She has recently been referred for surgery on her bowel and anus (they think its too small and in the wrong place! - great!)
Does anyone have experiance of this surgery,or caring for those who have? She seems in real agony and i'm keen to find her the best surgeons and means of coping for her.
she will also have surgery to remove facial tags and pits in later life- i understand that this is not pressing although the pit does keep getting infected and weeping...any tips?
She seems bright as a button but tiny for her age ...feeding just exhausts her so we take it one day at a time.
I would be grateful for any advice or contact.
