Oh yes, there is indeed cross-dressing. Apparently, in days of "yore", widows would go out and beg for money to have a New Years dinner. However, now young men dress up in women´s clothing as the Viuda (widow) and dance in front of elaborate barricades until given money by passing cars who are then allowed to go by.
