If there are any Pearson students/ex-students who were there during the "building for Ecuador" campaign that helped fund the building of a school in Chimborazo, Ecuador, who wouldn´t mind helping me do a piece of fieldwork, my investigation is two-fold:
1) The socio-cultural effects of the school project on the community and the influences of said project and the coordinating NGO, and
2) The decision-making, investigation, and action taken on the part of the students and faculty at Pearson as regards the finance-raising campaign.
I will also be involved in the project through helping get community imput for the math curriculum and keeping communication between the project and the college open. God bless post-modernism, heh heh. If everyone is biased, then it can´t be bad, right?
Any Spanish-speakers, I would love if you could communicate in Spanish because my paper is in that language.
Anyone else who would like to give imput/opinions on the project, it is more than welcome.
This is a preliminary inquiry; I may come up with a more detailed set of questions at a later time but I would like to gauge initial reactions.
Thanks so much for your help guys!
