Nico, I made it to Cambridge, weird place, but not as scarry as I expected it.
I have survived two weeks now, and I am walking by Corpus Christi almost every day on my way to go grocery shopping after the last lecture in Mill Lane.
Have all these sociology, psychology and anthro lectues, ran into Turner the other day and get to feel cool because I already know who LeviStrauss is, and what Weber and Durkheim were up to.
In the evenings I am doing fieldwork on the drinking habits of the British students, have started to work in a pub, and have learned to pull a guiness with a clover painted in the foam on top.
I have survived matriculation and my first formal hall, had to find out that the college bar is just like student store except their selection of drinks is more exiting. This whole place is about drinking anyways, I haven´t had a tutor meeting without wine, but maybe they'll run out eventually.
People still make fun of my accent though, and I am still happy about any NorthAmerican lecturer because I can actually understand what they are trying to tell me.
Well, just wanted to say hi, really, as I am reminded of you every day.
