I had first seen the speech done by Dennis Sheppard on the Miss America Pageant....one of the contestants did it for her "talent" and then this year for my public speaking class, we have to "perform" a famous speech. I picked this one because it really hits home. I have a very good friend who is gay, and if anything would ever happen to him....i dont know what i would do. I felt so horrible for that father, that family, and those friends who lost matthew...and I thought it was really great for you to share that speech with others....thanks
