Q. With WIN/XP how many Primary Partitions can there be on a single physical hard-drive?
Q. Can they all be seen at the same time or must all be hidden except the single one which is needed for the moment?
Q. Can any primary or extended/logical partitions be assigned drive-letters deeper in the alphabet than any CD-ROMs or ZIP-drives, or USB devices?
Q. How far back (2000, ME, NT, 98, 95) is this true? What changes have been made with varying releases?
Q. Is there any convenient place where all of this is presented in a concise matter-of-fact way?
