TFT resolution

ADI MS-5P Radeon 9200 Graphics
I want to buy an Acer AL1916ws 19" wide screen monitor. The resolution is given as 1440 x 900. I know that TFT monitors work best at only one resolution but my computer does not have 1440 x 900 as one of its choices. What do I do
