The school records from Breathitt County can be obtained by contacting the Director of Pupil Personnel at the Board of Education. If they graduated more than 7 years ago, those records are going to be destroyed in seven days. I saw this in the Jackson Times. This would be a good place to genealogy information because even if a great grand parent only attended a small school for elementary years, those records should still be within the system. I don't know how to go about getting records of the deceased, but it should be possible somehow.
