John Hays was born 1773 in Virginia, died April, 1840 in Breathitt County.
His father: William Hays, born 1755 in Rockbridge, VA, died 1807 in Henry, VA.
His mother: Sarah Anglin, born 1747 in VA, died 1814 in Henry, VA.
William's father: John Hays, born 1720 in Augusta, VA, died August 19, 1752 in Augusta, VA. Wife: Jane Wood, born 1735 in Goochland, VA, died 1812 in Wythe, VA.
John's father: John Hays, born 1674 in Ulster, Ireland, died 1750 in Augusta, VA. Wife: Rebecca Sams, and I have no information on her. Jane Wood's father: Michael Woods, born 1708 in Meath, Ireland, died March 11, 1777 in Botetourt, VA. Her mother: Anne Lambert, born 1712 in Meath, Ireland, died May 2, 1780 in Botetourt, VA. The other Woods I have information on are Michael, and two more John's. Hope this helps!!!
