Hello Bill:
Was your Robert married to Nannie Clemons? I show at least the following children for them... Clinton, Homer, James and Thomas.
I have learned Charlie Robinson/Robertson was the son of James R. Robinson and Margaret Burgess of Clay County, KY. I also learned he was shot and killed 10/8/1903 by a man named Alan/Allan Creech. I am currently searching for any court or newspaper articles concerning the shooting and trial of Creech.
Charlie is buried in Gabbard's Flat Cemetery in Shoulder Blade, Breathitt County, KY. His grave marker is "Robertson". I have submitted for a photo of the marker.
You may contact me by e-mail. I have a lot of information on the Gabbard's and the Robinson/Robertson's.
Kay
The correct spelling of the town is Elkatawa. It is west of Jackson, KY.
