Deaton and Spicer Genalogical Search

Hello all,

My maternal grandmother (Beulah Spicer Deaton) and grandfather (Harlan Deaton) were born and raised in Brethitt County. I spent many a summer visiting distant relatives in Oakdale and Jackson. I'm just beginning my genealogical search and I'd appreciate any help I could get. I'm trying to search for obituaries for some of my relatives and would love any advice from any of you.
