I am the grandson of Robert Lee and Vina Howard. I am certain I heard my father mention Lark several times. My father has passed on, but my uncle is still alive. I will see what I can find out.
I have also been trying to trace the Ritchie family. My grandmother was a Ritchie (born 1878, died 1957) and information on her parents is almost nonexistent.
