Hi there, If the Chalmer Howard I knew is the same one you are talking about, I knew him when I was growing up back in the 50's on Quicksand. He was our pastor for many years. My parents and all us kids went to the church where he preached. I remember he and his wife had some kids, but I can't remember them very well. I think they were older than me. But he was a good man and had some brothers that were preachers to. Doc Howard and Shelby Howard, and Maby another one. I saw a picture of your grandfather on a site I visit sometime. If you like I could get a copy and send you to see if its the same Chalmer Howard we are both talking about. I know I saw Doc and Shelby and I think there was a picture of Chalmer to. If I'm not mistaken, he preached at my Mom's funeral. My parents are Benton and Lucy Mann, both gone on now for a long time.
