Posted by Doug Hogue I did get some info that a Carl Hudson died at the age of 76 in 1997, in Breathitt County. Here is the obit. HUDSON, CARL, 76, of Jackson the person that gave me the obit stated "Carl was married 3 times that I know of: [1] Martha Noble, they divorced, [2] Mae Fugate, m. Mar 19, 1948 Perry Co [3] Hazel Wright m. Sep 7, 1989 Wolfe Co All of Carl's children was by Martha Noble" Need to confirm that this is the correct Carl Huson. There is some conflicting info in the obit and statement that rasies a question. 1. I have been able to confirm the Carl Hudson I am looking for married a Mae fugate in 1948. So that seems to make it sound like this is the correct Carl Hudson. 2. However, Mae and Carl did have a son Emmett. He is not mentioned in the obit. Anyone know why he is not mentioned? 3. Emmett and Mae did stated that Carl was shot and killed and lead me to believe it was much earlier than 1997. This conficts with the info on this Carl Hudson, as well. 4. Unable to confirm that this Carl Hudson died of a gun shot wound. Any help in clearing this up would be appreciated.
