Lovely's of Spring Fork

Hi! I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the Lovely family of Spring Fork. There doesn't seem to be a single word about them in anything other than tax books and censuses. Was that fairly normal for the mid-1800's in the mountainous regions of Breathitt?
