Posted by Aldo My question is, how thick should the metal be after sandblasting, to be deemed sound. Does anyone have any figures in regards. Would like to note the rust has not gone through, but it does cover most of the rails, suspension, and brake systems.

Hi, I hoping someone might have some comments or suggestions, if not a precise answer.
I'm restauring my '79, and after removing the front frame, noticed that infact the frame is rusty, and that its integrity is questionable. Have not sandblasting yet.
