Jim, I had a Big Bud from the 80's as well. I gave it to my nephew for Christmas, and he's been having fun ever since. The newer machines seem to be light years ahead of the older machines. Ease of operation, programability, depth, and more good things have come to light since the Big Bud's day. I've seen a few Big Bud 220's sell on Ebay, and other forums, and they have gone between $120.00 to around $180.00, depending on condition and as to whether or not a user manual come with it. Believe it or not, the user manual can be a HUGE difference in price of a machine. If you've got an older Big Bud, and it doesn't have a manual for it, look to get around $75.00 to $100.00 for it. If it's got extras, like other coils other than the original, then a few more dollars will be tacked on, no doubt. What sort of condition is your machine in? I've got another nephew who is interested in detecting, and if your machine is in good condition, should you be willing to sell it, I might be interested. Let me know. You can contact me at my email dacotah1_@mailexcite.com
Thanks and have a great day.
