The Lone star is a nice coinshooting machine but does not give the operator much control in all metal mode. One thing you can try, and this is experimental mind you. When you are probing or pinpointing in all metal. Turn the machine on its side and go over the target with just the side or edge of the coil. This will lessen the amount of coil over the target and produce a smaller area in order to pinpoint.
