The 4" works great on the L.Star
because of the confined field it
is great for "cherrypicking" coins
in trashy ground. It pinpoints well
and has very good depth. I've found
coins at 7", no problem. The only
negative is smaller ground coverage
compared to the 8". Takes longer,
but if the area has good potential,
that's OK. Just search 6 square ft.
at a time by stake & twine plotting
until you've covered it all.
