Since I am interested in buying a 505 let me ask- silver- did you mean a silver coin or jewelry ?? On all the other machines I have used a silver coin will ALWAYS read to right good, jewelry or silver mixed alloy could read anywhere. I would like to hear what it was you tested before buying machine.
