The 505 is between a Quick Draw II and the
LandStar. I'd suggest the Land Star because it has manual ground balance for
better nuetralizing of iron minerals effects as found in most Gold areas.
But the 505 will work OK to a point, in
all metal setting (Gold searching is done
in all metal for best response in zero
discrimination). But I know for a fact that the Land Star will be better in high
mineralization, for not much more cost.
