Remove the knobs and the screws from the faceplate. If there is a toggle switch on the faceplate remove the nut from this as well. On the back remove the screw holding the coil plug together. The faceplate will come off and the circuit board should slide out with the coil plug attached. Be sure to mark down how the coil plug goes back together thats the one odd piece. You can clip the wires going to the speaker and connect a "stereo" phone jack. These are available at Radio Shack. I would not connect the speaker and phone jack up together unless you can figure out how to wire the jack so the speaker is bypassed when the headphone plug is inserted. Good Luck, it's not to tough.
