On Thursday 15th March some of my dear Swedish friends attended the booklaunch & reception at Livrustkammaren/Royal Armoury at the Royal Palace in Stockholm, to celebrate the opening of a new exhibition and the launch of the beautiful book about the ceremonials and traditions of Royal births and Christenings, from the Vasa dynasty in the 1500's until present days.
The book is written by royal curator Lena Rangström and is titled "Kanonsalut och vaggor"
Published by Bokförlaget Atlantis
ISBN number: 9789173535588.
176 pages & richly illustrated !!!
It is an extremely beautiful book, which I just received and which contains a wealth of information and gorgeous pictures
