I would never google to find a book. I would use addall.com because I know (as a professional university librarian) that it is one of the best places to search for books because it covers other sites such as abebooks and dealers around the world - it also picks up the other dealer sealers on the Amazons.
Moreover, used bookstore use these sites to sell their books - and reach far more people than a causual browswer. Moreover, many of the used bookstores have closed their doors and sell solely on the Net (which means that rare book might not be spotted by a browser because the store is closed.) Here in northern Virginia, there are no used book stores, we have lost one of the 2 main chains (Borders) and there are no bookstores in Old Town Alexandria. I certainly would not dismiss using something like www.addall.com to search for books because of the depth and scope of what can be found.
and this is the site I have used to find books in Scandinavia http://www.antikvariat.net/
