You see I just can't understand why anyone cares what anyone else does at all. It's beyond reasoning. But yes, here in the Pacific Northwest their is definite movement towards staying at home after you have children. There is an assumption that if you don't stay at home, you don't love your child. It doesn't take into account that quantity time does not mean quality time. I think people who want to stay at home should do that and people who don't should do what they want. Same deal for changing your name. Anyone who objects to name changing on the basis that it's antifeminist should go back to freshman year of college and retake Women Studies 101 because they obviously missed some key elements of that class.
