is this totally cheezey, but have you thought about a winery? maybe a smaller one in sonoma/area? you can do it outside but still have some structure ... or do you know anyone who has a great house you could 'borrow' for the day? the place where i would love to get married (if ever the day comes!) is my parents friends' place out in iverness -- they have a lovely old house and a gorgeous, huge lawn that is in the middle of the woods and it smells so delicious and is so pretty. or - tahoe?
