i just realized i accidentally posted this as a reply to myself.
i'm just catching up on the last couple of entries and wanted to say so sorry about your pooch. we tried to adopt a dog that had a lot of behavioral problems once and we had to give her up. it broke my heart that we couldn't give her what she needed. i hope you will be able to find a good home for him if it comes to that, but i know how hard it is.
