Kingston Trio chart singles

In researching information for the script for our Tribute to The Kingston Trio show I relied heavily on Bill Bush’s “Greenback Dollar” (a must-read for all KT fans) and “The Kingston Trio on Record” by Ben Blake, Jack Rubeck and Allan Shaw. This past Sunday John Hollis and I performed at a local venue and, being Cinco de Mayo, we included a number of Mexican-themed tunes in our show. One of them was “El Matador”, a song we’d never sung together before. John is a huge Bob Shane fan and he really took to this song, so we decided we’d like to keep it in our repertoire and maybe even add it to the KT Tribute show. I was quite sure that I recalled it having been released as a single, and that fact was confirmed in “The Kingston Trio on Record.” The authors noted that “This single eventually made a respectable top forty showing.” But I’ve been unable to locate any information about how far up the charts it peaked. Does anyone know the answer to that question? And delving deeper into that research, is there any list available of all of the Trio’s singles with their top chart positions?
