Yes, that would’ve been me at that time. I joined the KT in 1985. Was this in California? The only time I remember the Bros. being on a bill with John was somewhere in Calif. I don’t remember specifically where it was, but I do remember hanging with John after that show. So at that time the other members of the Bros. were Dick Foley, John Paine and (I’m pretty sure) Tom Coe. I could be wrong about Coe. Bob Flick left us for a couple years and Coe took his place (on electric bass). That was during our attempt to “modernize”. We were doing some very bizarre material in addition to the required hits. We had some original tunes in the show along with a version of “On The Cover of The Rolling Stone”, “Teach Your Children” and “Suite Judy Blue Eyes”. We were also wearing giant-collared shirts and bell-bottoms as our stage attire. I think we were going for “disco-folk” or something.
