My guitar student is Terry (not Jerry) Ousey and we've been itchin' to get him on stage to show off what he's learned. So I threw him in the deep end last FRIDAY and - hey - he not only kept his head above water but he sounded great! He's currently working on "The Merry Minuet." Watch for future appearances!
The young boy that Jackson mentioned is 19-month-old Noah, who is in line for a kidney transplant. Despite his health issues he was full of life the other night and really put some energy into his ukulele strumming. (See photo in post below - I can't get it to insert here for some reason.)
But the star of the show on FRIDAY (in my humble opinion) was my father-in-law, Ed Vohs, who at age 92, gave us a very merry rendition of "White Christmas."
