Lovers-wow Roger did a fine job with that. I did a version when I first started screwing around with home recording and posted it to a guitar forum for critique. A fellow responded to it complementing me and explaining how Mickey Newbury was a good friend of his. I mentioned that I had learned it from Roger Gamble's performance shown here, and it turns out Roger was his NEIGHBOR in the 70's. To top it off, he also owned the D-28 that Stewart used on "California Bloodlines", although he later sold it. Small world, huh? It's been quite a few years, and I can't for the life of me remember that man's name.
