My first festival years ago was after substantial rain. It wasn't bad enough the park was incredibly muddy, but all the water rushing down the adjacent stream was so loud it nearly drowned out the performers.
Then there were those occasions it got so cold they had space heaters on the stage. And of course, there was that wonderful year when the threat of tornadoes cancelled some of the performances. After some of nature's past little pranks, this year's conditions were much more than tolerable, they were pleasant and comfortable.
Like I said, you were missed. Were your weekend performances elsewhere reasonably successful? Was weather a factor there?
