I've been digging as of late and have not found the answer. The Limeliters performed a great song 'Headin for the Hills' on the Tonight in Person album. It sounds like a traditional song but John Stewart is credited as the composer. Is it in fact a traditional song of the Revolutionary War era or a contemporary folk song? Did Mr. Stewart write it or compose the melody/harmony for the Limeliters?
This definitley appears to be the place where the answer would live.
