The thoughts, prayers, good vibes & whatever other voodoo that was shot through the cosmos must have worked.
I had my surgery early Monday morning and here I am visiting my work station on Friday, a little weary and held together with staples, but functioning.
The attention and care I received could have no equal. My surgeon made me paranoid afterward, going on and on how everything went "perfect."
Maybe somewhere down the line I'll give Bob some "deep thoughts" about survival, second chances, and what redemption feels like. But it's time to move on. Thanks again.
