I heard all about this on the Terry Anderson Show. Heard the school is not accepting phone calls?? Well, I just called (Oct. 3, 11:35 AM California time) the school phone number 303-902-7772, Principal Eric Everding's voice mail answered! I left the message that the teacher who is indoctrinating his students is committing a crime against children, and should be called to task for going way beyond his job description, and for writing a letter of complaint to the Atlanta Bread Co. on school letterhead. I emailed that teacher - Scott Murphy - at smurphy@jeffco.k12.co.us.
My email to Principal Eric Everding (eeverdin@jeffco.k12.co.us) was "It is a grotesque turn of affairs and a crime against children when an English teacher indoctrinates his students with his political point of view. Mr. Murphy's unforgivable rant against Bob Haworth is shocking and a discrace to your school. I understand he wrote the complaining letter to the restaurant where Mr. Haworth performs on school letterhead! Please do your duty as an administrator and demand that Mr. Murphy keep his political opinions out of the classroom. He should be remprimanded for using school letterhead. Maybe you should give him the boot.
