Decades ago I got an inkling of this when I needed to throw some stuff out when I lived in Oregon. I followed directions and wound up at the "Refuse disposal site". My reaction was -hey, I thought this was the dump! Where the heck is the dump? It actually took me about 5 minutes to figure out I was in the right place. Not any more though, I get it.
