More questions. What was your role in the New Yorkers ? Were you a primary vocalist? Lead Guitar? Any banjo? Was the comedy schtick that defined the Hudson Brothers present during your tenure? Now the hard one; How after hanging with Harry Nillson and Van Dyke Parks, commuting between LA and NYC playing contemporary music could you have ended up joining The Brothers Four (who by that time had become little more than a nostalgic act in fading music format)and replacing Mark Pierson? Why did Pierson leave in the 70's ? Don't get me wrong, I've always been a big fan of that group ( I interviewed them in 1967 for my college newspaper and they were some of the nicest guys I ever talked to), but traditional folk music wasn't selling much in the 70's and you appeared to be on a fast tract in the LA music scene.
