Actually, I think the dinosaur was on the Martin D-28 back then. Just kidding of course. Living in Atlanta, I ran into Bob sveral times in the 80's and early 90's, once at a radio station promotion I was working, George was with him. Since George didn't live in Atlanta I have to believe they were prepping for a tour that included you. The 10 minuite conversation wasn't life changing but they were almost congenial. Bob offered to buy my 1964 model Seger Vega, but I aint parting with it. I think they were a little miffed since they weren't there as celebraties and I was only one of a few that recognized them I actually had a better relationship with Roger Gambill. He was an extremely nice guy and I had several long conversations with him.He had absolutely no sign of an ego and was a straight shooter like you Bob.
