Fitz But the hardest thing to accept is that people I idolized because they shared a common message about humanity, beauty, truth, and love- things that ennoble us-- sullied the ideal by fighting over name ownership and the bottom line. All I can do is quote a song I first heard at a Limeliters/New Kingston Trio concert I saw in the 70's: "Even living legends gotta live," and take it at face value.

It took me long enough to come to terms with what Bob said about the tradition over the personalities. A Limeliters or KT without original members isn't necessarily a bad thing nor is any tribute band that gives proper respect to its roots. Nothing ever remains the same and when the alternative to change is the complete loss of a tradition or great music, I'll accept the change.
