I'm actually kind of dumbfounded that so many states have already passed this legislation. And it certainly will impact The Trio, depending on the wording of the legislation. Conn., Mass, Penn. and SC, particularly, are strong markets for The Trio. But here's the deal - in all the concerts I did with The Trio sans Bob Shane, only one person that I know of ever complained that there were no originals on stage. And he sat through the whole show before deciding to ask for his money back. So I'm thinking that, even if the disclosure is made prior to the show, it may not impact ticket sales that much. But it will be interesting to watch this. And, just between the few of us here, I'm giggling at the thought that some venue might be forced to cancel a Trio show based on this law. Hey - no money out of MY pocket!
