I didn't care for Don Ho when I was younger, but I find him very easy to listen to. I never heard him live, and I regret missing vintage icons. Fabulous if you can hook him into a Concert for A Cure. Wish it could be on this shore. I don't notice Parkinson's charities making any ink in either of my home bases--Sacramento or Berkeley. I wonder how visible an organization must be for a good referal for Concerts for a Cure. I imagine they need to have a funraising arm that is recoginized by the community. Do they get the venue, get a local media face to emcee, advertise and sell the tix or does your organization? I just wondered what to keep my eye open for.
