Bob’s schedule has gotten a lot busier. He will be on local Denver radio KEZW on Friday morning. He will be entertaining holiday shoppers at the Colorado Mills Outlet Center November 27th. He’ll be live on KRFC-FM on the 28th – and you can tune in live to hear that as KRFC offers real time streaming of its programming – the link to the station is on this site under SCHEDULE. Tickets still on sale for the Brothers Four/Bob Haworth Concerts December 1 and 2. See details under SCHEDULE. Bob and Meri’s booking agency site www.crescent-entertainment.com has been updated with all sorts of great information on the acts that have agreed to participate in Concerts for A Cure. Check it out! Of course, Bob’s Christmas CD is on sale – perfect for this time of the year. You can buy it here on the site. I personally have been hooked on the first song on the CD – which features Bob along with a chorus of young children. This is destined to be a classic. Radio stations will be adding some of Bob’s Christmas music this season. Country giant Eagle 106.7FM in Atlanta, GA and the legendary broadcaster Rhubarb Jones will be playing cuts from the CD. Yours truly, Mike Kavanagh of WSB-AM 750 in Atlanta, GA will be playing cuts. KEZW-AM Denver and KRFC-FM Denver also are playing Bob’s songs. Also adding Bob’s Christmas songs this year – three radio networks – XM Satellite Radio, Sirius Satellite Radio and the Music Of Your Life Network. Thanks to them for their expanded playlists and the ability to highlight this great artist. The effort to get Katrina onto radio playlists has run into the predictable issue of corporate controlled playlists that take only “audience-tested” songs – so I suggest if you are pushing your local station to add Bob’s songs, be it Katrina or the Christmas songs – consider stations that are not part of the big conglomerate controlled chains. Local public stations and stations with powerful local personalities like a Rhubarb Jones in Atlanta are much easier to convince. Thanks again to all of you who have supported Bob and Meri. The new Concerts For A Cure is an exciting new project we can all feel good about supporting. Link: Crescent Entertainment
