    G`day Ned ,

Ours had the light on got it reset and hasn`t come back . It had 3 faults logged .

There are many reasons for the light to come on and they do act as you describe . Doing a test finding a fault and holding it .Does it each time the ignition is on so act as you say .

Flat and /or low battery can set it off ,bad connection at any of the many connections .the cassette under the steering wheel .

The P38a uses the same computer and mostly everything else other than both bags .

The Disco 1 is very similar but not every thing , the bags are the same , cassette same ect , they often log low battery and resister fault .

So to finish can`t be of any help other than saying the light is acting as it should when some things wrong .

    Cheers
    Peter
