Fitting an old Maxi drive rear locker from my 84 RR to my 95 RR can be done, with just a few modifications.
I had to manufacture the mounting block that is welded to the diff housing.
This is the block and locating jig on the old RR to check how it lines up.

The bolt holes in the drive flanges needed enlarging by about half a mm.

The drive flange needed a bit of grinding to allow for the bigger bolt head and therefore larger spanner. Allen key bolts might have been better.

A couple of mm needed to be trimmed of the axles, as the 95 hubs are that much thinner than the 84 hubs, which makes the axles too long.

Its all in, now I have to do the wiring and plumbing, and inside things, like finding somewhere to put the switch and light that won't look out of place in the Vogue.
