    Hi Ned
I have had both ARB and still have the Maxi Drives
front and rear for my "Old Dog Disco", the differences are pretty apparent if you put the two together, "Blind Neddy" (excuse the pun) could pick which has been built better and with stronger materials, the Maxi Drive wins hands down.
I have had experinces with the air pressure O rings giving up the ghost and the side bearing mount on the crown wheel flange tearing itself right out leaving the diff centre floating on one side with the side bearing on the diff hemisphere side holding everything together.
Having said all that though I must add that I treated them pretty badly but no worse than the Maxi drives and there's no payments for guessing which units lasted without any problems.
    Regards:-
    Patrick M.

: I did a bit of measuring today, the hubs/drive
: flanges are the same bolt pattern, but the
: newer hub is a little thinner than the older
: hub, which would make the maxi axles that
: much too long. This can be fixed I reckon
: with shims, or by using the older hub.
    :
    : Stay tuned.
