Hi Blokes It turns out that my mate did not have to rebuild his engine after the oil cooler crapped out and contaminated the oil and water coolant system with oil and water. Apparently all he did was replace the cooler and flush out the entire oil and coolant system. It appears that there is an oil trap in the system and this can be checked periodically, he says there is still small traces of oil coming through so he is not goint to put any coolant into the it until these small traces dissapear. So there you go, Oh and here,s one for you the parts he bought where from Barbagallo's in Perth and were a couple of hundred bucks cheaper than anyone else. Wonders will never cease.
