Ned, mine is a Stock Standard '93 auto so I guess from your post that the Thor inlet manifold must be Non-Standard so it's likely mine isn't a Thor, is that correct?
Does the pressure regulator have to be removed to be cleaned or is it just blown out with air, looks like it is hard to get at?

: Hi Bill. Only the Thor manifold fuel rail has
: the problem with air in the fuel rail, as
: the fuel rail is not the through flow like
: the earlier injection of the 3.9 and 4.6
: have, which don't need bleeding. I have
: changed my inlet manifold to the Thor, so I
: have some of the troubles it gives, but all
: of the improved torque too. The fuel
: pressure reg is that little round thing on
: the fuel rail near the fire wall end with
: fuel pipes and a vacuum line connected to
: it.

: G'day Ned
:
: I replaced the filter on the weekend, it did
: improve idle and power.
:
: I didn't check the pressure regulator, not
: sure where it is, and didn't bleed any air
: from blind fuel rail and can't find any
: reference on "Bleeding" procedure.
