I love it when I stumble across useful information- haven't been on here for a while but the site has not out-lived it's usefulness yet.
Greg, i have a 95 soft dash classic and have been frustrated by the fact that the seat memory hasn't worked since i've had the car. I just applied Peter R's method and it worked! Mine is probably the same as yours- the fuses under the seat did not match Peter's description. I went ahead and tried it without removing any fuses, and now have working seat and mirror memory.
Without pulling any fuses, with the drivers' door open, press the green dot button 5 times and then memory buttons 1-2-2-1 as peter described. My seat and mirrors did a 2-minute dance, I then programmed the memory (put seat and mirrors where you want them, hold the green button and press button 1 or 2) and now the memories work. Fantastic!

: Does anyone know how to reset as above .
: Not just set the memory per person ( 2 are
: available )but clear the memory to reset the
: whole thing .
: Just setting new memory positions does not
: work as they are not stored into the memory
: .
: It's the only thing on the car which doesn't
: work , excepting the owner of course .
