    G`day Greg

Found a bit more ... ( from manual not tried , still not up to seats )

A pre-set memory can be cleared by setting a new position .

The memory can be cleared by removing Fuse #4 .

Self test for movement range ( not memory ).

    Drivers door open .

Press memory button 5 times then press position buttons 2-1-1-2 .

Seat should got through full movement range and when finished stop at mid point .

If memory not working gives test but tests are on ECU and relays mostly , not sure i`m clever enough to relay info but i`ll try if needed .

Also i`m working from a 94/5 manual but would think 93 would be same if no similar .

    Cheers

: Can`t tell you how it`s done and I`ve not
: got as far as seats as yet .
    :
: From the manual , it says that the memory
: has to be initialised from new or if power
: is lost to the memory ecu for more that 4
    : weeks .
    :
: I can only find mention of seat memory
: initialisation in the manual and as yet
: nothing on how this is done , my biggest
: problem is the manual is on CD and they are
: not all that easy to negotiate , give me the
: book type any day .
    :
: If i find it i`ll let you know or if when
: playing with ours i find anything and if you
: find out i`d be pleased to know if you don`t
    : mind .

    : Cheers

: Does anyone know how to reset as above .
: Not just set the memory per person ( 2 are
: available )but clear the memory to reset the
    : whole thing .
: Just setting new memory positions does not
: work as they are not stored into the memory
    : .
: It's the only thing on the car which doesn't
: work , excepting the owner of course .
